Two-time 74 KG Russian Nationals Champion, 2019 74 KG U23 World Champion Razambek Zhamalov announced that he has transferred to compete for Uzbekistan ahead of the Olympics. When Zhamalov competes again and is eligible to compete again, his country designation will be adjusted to Uzbekistan. 2021 74 KG U23 World Champion #6 (74) Chermen Valiev of Russia has transferred to Albania ahead of the Olympics.

57 KG

Aman Aman (IND) returns to the rankings at #18 for beating #15 Wanhou Zou (CHN) for gold at the Zagreb Open. Bronze medalists at the Zagreb Open were Georgi Vangelov (BUL) and Muhammet Karavus (TUR). #15 Wanhou Zou (CHN) falls four spots to #19 for his loss to #18 Aman Aman (IND). Muhammet Karavus (TUR) takes the #20 spot in the rankings for beating 2023 Pan-Am Games champion Zane Richards (USA) and Roberti Dingashvili (GEO).

Roman Bravo Young (MEX) won the Henri Deglane Grand Prix over Daniel DeShazer (USA) with Ivaylo Tisov (BUL) and Diamantino Ianu Fafe (GBS) taking bronze.

#4 Zavur Uguev (RUS) won the Yarygin over Musa Mekhtikhanov (RUS) with #4 (61) Akhmed Idrisov (RUS) and #11 (61) Gulomjon Abdullaev (UZB) taking bronze. Musa Mekhtikhanov (RUS) returns to the rankings at #6 for beating #4 (61) Akhmed Idrisov (RUS) and #8 Ramiz Gamzatov (RUS) to make the finals of the Yarygin. #4 (61) Akhmed Idrisov (RUs) takes the #7 spot in the rankings for wins over #9 Nachyn Mongush (RUS) and #10 Ramiz Gamzatov (RUS) to take bronze at the Yarygin. #11 (61) Gulomjon Abdullaev (UZB) takes the #11 spot in the rankings for beating #16 Aryan Tyutrin (BLR) for bronze.

Bekhbayar Erdenebat (MGL) won the Zagreb Open over Andrii Dzhelep (UKR) with Aliabbas Rzazade (AZE) and Nuraddin Novruzov (AZE) taking bronze. Bekhbayar Erdenebat (MGL) makes his 61 KG rankings debut at #14. Arman Eloyan (FRA) won the Henri Deglane Grand Prix over Georgi Vangelov (BUL) with Joey Silva (PUR) and Ravi Kumar Dahiya (IND) taking bronze. Arman Eloyan (FRA) enters the rankings at #15 for his wins over Georgi Vangelov (BUL) and 2020 57 KG Olympic runner-up Ravi Kumar Dahiya (IND).

#4 Akhmed Idrisov (RUS) moved down to 57 KG where he took bronze and slots in at #8 in the 57 KG rankings. #11 Gulomjon Abdullaev (UZB) cut down to 57 KG where he took bronze at the Yarygin and is currently ranked eleventh. #3 Abasgadzhi Magomedov (RUS) won the Yarygin over #4 Muslim Mekhtikhanov (RUS) with Sardor Ruzimov (UZB) and #5 Kezhik Mongush (RUS) taking bronze. Andrey Midlovets (RUS) debuts in the rankings at #19 for beating 2023 Russian Nationals bronze medalist Dinislam Takhtarov (RUS) in the round of 16 at the Yarygin.

65 KG

#7 Vazgen Tevanyan (ARM) won the Zagreb Open by injury default over #5 Rahman Amouzad (IRI). Bronze medalists at the Zagreb Open were Abbas Ebrahim (IRI) and #16 Joey McKenna (USA). #6 Sebastian Rivera (PUR) drops seven spots in the rankings to #13 for his losses to #7 Vazgen Tevanyan (ARM) and #16 Joey McKenna (USA) at the Zagreb Open. #16 Joey McKenna (USA) moves up four spots to #12 for beating 2023 Senior World Runner-up #13 Sebastian Rivera (PUR) by 10-0 tech fall for bronze at the Zagreb Open.

Aden Valencia (USA) won the Henri Deglane Grand Prix over Khamzat Arsamerzouev (FRA) with Peiman Biabani (CAN) and Stefan Coman (ROM) taking bronze.

#10 Gadzhimurad Rashidov (RUS) moves up seven spots to #3 in the rankings for winning the Yarygin over #4 Tulga Tumur Ochir (MGL). Bronze medalists at the Yarygin were #18 Dalgat Abdulkadyrov (RUS) and Aripgadzhi Abdulaev (RUS). Aripgadzhi Abdulaev (RUS) rejoins the rankings at #14 for beating #15 Ramazan Ferzaliev (RUS) in the round of 16 at the Yarygin. #1 Ismail Musukaev (HUN) lost in a match up at 75 KG in the Bundesliga finals to Rasul Shapiev (MKD).

70 KG

#18 Akaki Kemertelidze (GEO) repeated his victory over #19 Giorgi Elbakidze (GEO) from the Georgian National Finals to win the Zagreb Open. Doug Zapf (USA) took bronze at the Zagreb Open. Seyfulla Itaev (FRA) took gold at the Henri Deglane Grand Prix over Alexander Semisorow (GER) with Marc Dietsche (SUI) and Rifat Saibotalov (KAZ) taking bronze.

#10 Kurban Shiraev (RUS) climbs up nine spots in the rankings to #1 after winning the Yarygin over #2 Inalbek Sheriev (RUS). Shiraev climbs to the #1 spot over 2023 70 KG Senior World champion #1 Zain Retherford (USA) due to a win over #5 (74) David Baev (RUS) at PWL-6. Retherford and Sheriev both drop one spot each to #2 and #3, respectively, with Shiraev’s ascension to the top. Bronze medalists at the Yarygin were Magomed-Bashir Khaniev (AZE) and Aisen Potapov (RUS). Magomed-Bashir Khaniev (AZE) returns to the rankings at #12 for beating #13 Alan Kudzoev (RUS) for bronze at the Yarygin. Murad Evloev (AZE) debuts in the rankings at #16 for upsetting formerly twelfth ranked Georgi Sekinaev (RUS) in the round of 32. Oleg Formin (RUS) debuts in the rankings at #15 for beating #16 Murad Evloev (AZE) in the round of 16 to make the quarterfinals. #12 Georgi Sekinaev (RUS) drops five spots to #17 for his loss to #16 Murad Evloev (AZE) at the Yarygin.

#12 Jason Nolf (USA) won the Zagreb Open over #19 Hossein Abouzari (IRI). Bronze medalists at the Zagreb Open were Murad Kuramagomedov (HUN) and Dzhabrail Gadzhiev (AZE). Notable upsets from the Zagreb Open happened on both ends of the bracket, with #12 Jason Nolf pinning #7 Georgios Kougiomtsidis (GRE) in the semifinals and Murad Kuramagomedov beating #7 Kougiomtsidis for bronze while #19 Hossein Abouzari (IRI) upset #14 Younes Emami (IRI) in the quarterfinals. #12 Jason Nolf (USA) moves up five spots in the rankings to #7 for his win over #7 Georgios Kougiomtsidis (GRE), Murad Kuramagomedov (HUN) returns to the rankings at #14 for beating #7 Georgios Kougiomtsidis (GRE), who drops eight spots in the rankings to #15 for his losses to #7 Jason Nolf (USA) and #14 Murad Kuramagomedov (HUN). #14 Hossein Abouzari (IRI) moves up three spots to #16 for his win over #17 Younes Emami (IRI) at the Zagreb Open.

Mohammad Mottaghini (ESP) won the Henri Deglane Grand Prix over David Wolf (GER) with Alex Facundo (USA) and Tyler Berger (USA) took bronze.

#10 Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov (BLR) won the Yarygin over #4 David Baev (RUS). Bronze medalists at the Yarygin were Bekzod Abdurakhmanov (UZB) and Magomed Dibirgadzhiev (RUS). #10 Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov (BLR) moves up six spots to #4 for his victories over #4 David Baev (RUS), Magomed Dibirgadzhiev (RUS), and #9 Timur Bizhoev (RUS) at the Yarygin. Magomed Dibirgadzhiev (RUS) returns to the rankings at #12 for tech falling #9 Timur Bizhoev (RUS) in the bronze medal match of the Yarygin; Bizhoev falls four spots to #13 for his losses to #4 Kadimagomedov and #12 Dibirgadzhiev. 2020 Olympic bronze medalist Bekzod Abdurakhmanov (UZB) rejoins the rankings at #19 for taking bronze at the Yarygin with a 12-2 tech fall victory over #20 Israil Kasumov (RUS).

#2 Mohammad Nokhodi (IRI) took gold at the Zagreb Open over #5 Avtandil Kentchadze (GEO) while Evan Wick (USA) took bronze. Pouri Taherkani (GER) won the Henri Deglane Grand Prix ove Gabriel Iglesias (ESP) with Adam Kakhriev (FRA) and Yerkhan Bexultanov (KAZ) taking bronze. #4 Chance Marsteller (USA) moved up to 86 KG, where he took bronze at the Zagreb Open and is ranked 14th in the world.

#6 Khalid Yakhiev (RUS) won the Yarygin over #11 Magomed Magomaev (RUS) with Akhmed Usmanov (RUS) and #10 Kasum Kasumov (RUS) taking bronze. 2023 Senior World champion Akhmed Usmanov (RUS) returns to the rankings at #4 for taking bronze at the Yarygin. #11 Magomed Magomaev (RUS) climbs up eight spots in the rankings to #3 for beating #4 Akhmed Usmanov (RUS) and #15 Alan Tsokolaev (RUS). #6 Khalid Yakhiev (RUS) moves up four spots to #2 in the rankings for beating #3 Magomed Magomaev (RUS), #10 Kasum Kasumov (RUS) and #13 David Betanov (RUS) at the Yarygin.

The Yarygin featured multiple high profile upsets, the most notable being Magomed Kardanov beating #7 Gadzhimurad Alikhmaev (RUS) and Nikita Suchkov (RUS) to make the quarterfinals, where he lost to #10 Kasum Kasumov (RUS). Kardanov takes the #11 spot in the rankings for his win over #7 Gadzhimurad Alikhmaev (RUS) who falls five spots to #12. David Betanov (RUS) enters the rankings at #13 for beating #14 Akhmed Manilov (RUS) in the consolation bracket. Alan Tsokolaev (RUS) enters the rankings at #15 for beating #16 Abdulkerim Abdulaev (RUS) at the Yarygin.

#12 Magomed Ramazanov (BUL) won the Zagreb Open over #8 Azamat Dauletbekov (KAZ) with #4 (79) Chance Marsteller (USA) and Evsem Shvelidze (GEO) taking bronze. #12 Magomed Ramazanov (BUL) moves up six spots to #6 for winning the Zagreb Open over #8 Azamat Dauletbekov (KAZ). #8 Azamat Dauletbekov (KAZ) moves up one spot to #7 for beating #6 Deepak Punia (IND), Evsem Shvelidze (GEO), Matthew Finesilver (ISR), and Valentyn Babii (UKR, upset #3 (92) Zahid Valencia in his qualification match). Evsem Shvelidze (GEO) debuts in the rankings for beating #6 Deepak Punia (IND) and 2021 U23 world champion Mukhammad Aliiev (UKR) on his way to take bronze at the Zagreb Open.

Arsenii Dzhioev (AZE) debuts in the rankings at #19 for beating #16 Osman Gocen (TUR) in the round of 16 at the Zagreb Open, and 2023 79 KG Senior World silver medalist Vladimeri Gamkrelidze (GEO) debuts in the 86 KG rankings at #20 for beating #17 Rakhim Magamadov (FRA) in his qualification match.

2023 European Champion Dauren Kurugliev (GRE) made a successful return to competition with a title at the Henri Deglane Grand Prix over Mark Hall (USA) to return to the rankings at #5 for past wins over #3 Artur Naifonov (RUS), #4 Myles Amine (SMR) and #6 Magomed Ramazanov (BUL). Bronze medalists at the Henri Deglane Grand Prix were Taylor Lujan (USA) and Joshua Morodian (GER).

#3 Artur Naifonov (RUS) won the Yarygin over #9 Arslan Bagaev (RUS) with Malik Shavaev (RUS) and #15 Tazhidin Akaev (RUS) taking bronze. Camden McDaniel (USA) won the Henri Deglane Grand Prix over Abdimanap Baigenzheyev (KAZ) with Michal Bielawski (POL) and Benjamin Griel (AUT) taking bronze.

#5 (97) Magomed Kurbanov (RUS) takes the number one spot in the rankings after winning the Yarygin over 2023 Junior World champion #9 (86) Mohammad Azimi (IRI). Bronze medalists at the Yarygin were Azamat Zakuev (RUS) and #14 Mustafagadzhi Malachdibirov (RUS). Mohammad Azimi (IRI) returns to the rankings at #2 for beating #3 Azamat Zakuev (RUS), #10 Gadzhimagomed Nazhmudinov (RUS), #11 Arsenali Musalaliev (RUS), and #14 Shamil Imam Gadzhialiev (RUS).

Two-time 92 KG Senior World Champion Kamran Ghasempour (IRI) returns to the 97 KG rankings at #6 for wins over #7 J’den Cox (USA) and #1 (92) Magomed Kurbanov (RUS). #5 Magomed Kurbanov (RUS) cut back down to 92 KG where he took gold at the Yarygin and is currently ranked #1 in the world.

Georgi Meshvildishvili (AZE) takes the #20 spot in the rankings for beating #9 (97) Givi Matcharashvili (GEO) to make the bronze medal match of the Zagreb Open against #5 Mason Parris (USA).

Hayden Zillmer (USA) beat Trent Hillger (USA) to win the Henri Deglane Grand Prix with Jonovan Smith (PUR) taking bronze. #10 Zelimkhan Khizriev (RUS) took gold at the Yarygin by default over his brother #14 Anzor Khizriev (RUS). Bronze medalists at the Yarygin were #15 Zhiwei Deng (CHN) and Nikita Khabarov (RUS). Pound for Pound

Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov (BLR) is back in the pound for pound rankings at #16 for beating #21 David Baev (RUS) and #23 Timur Bizhoev (RUS) at the Yarygin. #23 Timur Bizhoev (RUS) is out of the pound for pound rankings due to his loss in the bronze medal match of the 74 KG Yarygin tournament to #12 (74) Magomed Dibirgadzhiev (RUS).
