The freestyle World Cup is always one of the most exhilarating wrestling events of the year.
In 2018, a legendary US team squared off against the always tough squad from Azerbaijan in the gold medal finals.
The freestyle World Cup is a "dual meet tournament", meaning teams compete in team vs. team action in a round robin "pool". The teams with the best records from Pool A and Pool B meet in the finals, and so on.
